Golden Strings

A stop motion short film completed as my graduation project, focusing on the relationship between a mother and her daughter.

The puppets were my main task, and were designed using self-built wire armatures. The hair was made with wool and all clothing hand sewn. The animations were done by me and the two other animators in my team.

Golden Strings has been awarded with Best Analog Animation at the Best Austrian Animation Festival and won Gold in the Motion/Film-Craft Category at the Young Ones ADC Awards.
